To say the least Denzel Valentinewith an average of 7 points and 256 games played in six seasons, has been a big disappointment since the start of his career.
The 14th choice of the 2016 Draft never managed to win with the Bulls despite two interesting first seasons, where several players drafted after him have shone in recent years. Like Dejounte Murray, Caris LeVert or even Pascal Siakam and Malcolm Brogdon.
Over the seasons, injuries have got the better of his performance, and neither in Cleveland nor in Utah, during the last exercise, the winger failed to revive.
Currently without a club and after a stint in the G-League, we learn via WILX that the Celtics have invited him to their training camp. He will therefore have an opportunity to show himself and prove, at 28, that he really has the level to stay in the league… or stay in the Boston-affiliated club in the G-League.
